BRAVO LES AIGLONS !!!!!!

Like the Mali Aigles who came 3rd in the Africa Cup of Nations, their babies, the under-20 Aiglons came 3rd in their world cup.

The tournament took place in New Zealand in May-June 2015.

Winner: Serbia
Second: Brazil
Third: MALI Fourth: Senegal

Voted Best Player of the Tournament: Adama Traoré of Mali who won the Adidas Golden Ball trophy.

Kouyaté is an ancient musical name in Mali. At Sunday’s banjo workshop with four of Virginia’s banjo masters, Bassekou explained how he had learned to play the ngoni from his father and grandfather, and how his ancestors were playing music and sang the sovereign’s praises seven hundred years ago at the court of the original Lion King, Sunjata Keita.
